حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَزْرَقُ عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَزْنِي الزَّانِي حِينَ يَزْنِي وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ» قَالَ عِكْرِمَةُ فَقُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَكَيْفَ يُنْزَعُ الْإِيمَانُ؟ قَالَ «كَذَا وَوَصَفَ فَشَبَّكَ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَهَا فَإِذَا تَابَ عَادَ إِلَى ذَلِكَ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “The fornicator does not fornicate while he is a believer.” ʿIkrimah said: I said to Ibn ʿAbbās, “How is faith removed?” He said, “Like this,” and he described it by interlacing his fingers, then he pulled them apart. “And if he repents, it returns to him.”
