حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَدَنِيُّ ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ أَبَانَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «§لَمْ

أَسْمَعْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَرَأَ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَلَمْ يَأْمُرْنَا وَقَدْ بَلَّغَ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting in the Zuhr and ʿAsr prayers, and he did not command us, though he had conveyed [the message].
