حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ «§افْتَرَضَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِمْ
أَنْ يُقَاتِلَ الْوَاحِدُ الْعَشَرَةَ فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَوَضَعَ ذَلِكَ عَنْهُمْ فَرُدَّ إِلَى أَنْ يُقَاتِلُوا الْعَدُوَّ إِذَا كَانُوا ضِعْفَيْنِ»
