حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

بِتُّ فِي بَيْتِ خَالَتِي مَيْمُونَةَ «فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَأَطْلَقَ الْقِرْبَةَ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَقُمْتُ فَتَوَضَّأْتُ ثُمَّ جِئْتُ فَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ فَأَخَذَنِي بِيَمِينِهِ فَأَدَارَنِي مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَأَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ»

✧ I spent the night in the house of my maternal aunt Maymunah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ got up during the night, loosened the water skin, performed wudu, then stood for prayer. I got up, performed wudu, then came and stood on his left. He took me by his right hand, turned me around from behind him, and placed me on his right, so I prayed with him.
