حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخٍ ثنا سُوَيْدٌ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ رَاوِيَةُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَنَا الزَّعِيمُ بِبَيْتٍ فِي رباضِ الْجَنَّةِ وَبِبَيْتٍ فِي أَعْلَاهَا وَبِبَيْتٍ فِي أَسْفَلِهَا لِمَنْ تَرَكَ الْجَدَلَ وَهُوَ مُحِقٌ وَتَرَكَ الْكَذِبَ وَهُوَ لاعبٌ وَحَسَّنَ خُلُقَهُ لِلنَّاسِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: “I am the guarantor of a house in the outskirts of Paradise, a house in its highest part, and a house in its lowest part for the one who gives up disputation while being in the right, gives up lying while joking, and improves his character toward people.”
