حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي خِدَاشٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
لَمَّا أَشْرَفَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى الْمَقْبَرَةِ وَهُوَ عَلَى طَرِيقِهَا الْأَوَّلِ أَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ وَرَاءَ الضَّفِيرَةِ أَوِ الظَّهِيرَةِ فَقَالَ «نِعْمَ الْمَقْبَرَةُ هَذِهِ» قُلْتُ لِلَّذِي يُخْبِرُنِي خَصَّ الشِّعْبَ؟ قَالَ هَكَذَا كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «خَصَّ الشِّعْبَ الْمُقَابِلَ بِالْبَيْتِ»

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ overlooked the graveyard while on its first path, he gestured with his hand behind the ridge or the high ground and said: "What an excellent graveyard this is." I said to the one informing me: He singled out the mountain pass? He said: This is how we heard that the Prophet ﷺ singled out the pass facing the House.
