حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَمْزَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ الْمَهْدِيُّ بِعَهْدِي وَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَصْلُبَ فِي الْحُكْمِ وَقَالَ فِي كِتَابِهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ وَعِزَّتِي وَجَلَالِي لَأَنْتَقِمَنَّ مِنَ الظَّالِمِ فِي عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ وَلَأَنْتَقِمَنَّ مِمَّنْ رَأَى مَظْلُومًا فَقَدَرَ أَنْ يَنْصُرَهُ فَلَمْ يَفْعَلْ
Translation

- Katab Ilay al-Mahdī Biʿahdī and ʾAmaranī
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Your Lord said: “By My might and majesty, I will surely exact retribution from the wrongdoer in this life and the next, and I will surely exact retribution from one who sees a wronged person and is able to help him but does not do so.”
