حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ قَالَ
جَالَسْتُ سَبْعِينَ أَوْ ثَمَانِينَ شَخْصًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَا أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ خَالَفَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ فَيَلْتَقِيَانِ إِلَّا قَالَ الْقَوْلُ كَمَا قُلْتَ أَوْ قَالَ صَدَقْتَ
Translation

✧ I sat with seventy or eighty individuals from the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Not one of them differed with Ibn Abbas and then met him except that he said: 'The saying is as you said' or 'You have spoken the truth.'
