حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ الْحَرَشِيُّ ثنا الْفَضْلُ الْأَغَرُّ الْكِلَابِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ يَوْمًا فَقَالَ لَهُمْ «هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا يَقُولُ رَبُّكُمْ ﷻ؟» قَالُوا اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا قَالَ «وَعِزَّتِي وَجَلَالِي لَا يُصَلِّيهَا عَبْدٌ لِوَقْتِهَا إِلَّا أَدْخَلْتُهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَنْ صَلَّاهَا لِغَيْرِ وَقْتِهَا إِنْ شِئْتُ رَحْمَتُهُ وَإِنْ شِئْتُ عَذَّبْتُهُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by his companions one day and said to them, “Do you know what your Lord, Mighty and Sublime, is saying?” They said, “Allah and His Messenger know best.” He said it three times. He said, “By My might and My majesty, no servant performs it at its proper time except that I enter him into Paradise, and whoever performs it other than at its proper time, if I will I have mercy on him, and if I will I punish him.”
