حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ أَبِي شَبِيبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا قَالَ «سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ» قَالَ «اللهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ مِلْءَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمِلْءَ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَمِلْءَ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدُ أَهْلَ الثَّنَاءِ وَأَهْلَ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَالْمَجْدِ لَا مَانِعَ لَمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: When he said, “Allah hears the one who praises Him,” he would say, “O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs praise, filling the heavens and filling whatever is between them and filling whatever You will after that—Lord of praise and Lord of majesty and glory. There is none to withhold what You give, and the fortune of the fortunate avails him not against You.”
