حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ الْحَنَفِيُّ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ مَالِكِ بْنِ زُبَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
جَاءَ قَوْمٌ إِلَى نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ بِصَاحِبِهِمْ فَقَالُوا يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ إِنَّ صَاحِبَنَا هَذَا قَدْ أَفْسَدَهُ الْحَيَاءُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ مِنْ شَرَائِعِ الْإِسْلَامِ وَإِنَّ الْبَذَاءَ مِنْ لُؤْمِ الْمَرْءِ»

✧ Some people came to the Prophet of God ﷺ with their companion and said: "O Prophet of God, our companion here has been ruined by shyness." The Prophet ﷺ said: "Indeed, shyness is part of the laws of Islam, and obscenity is from a person's baseness."
