حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ سَيْحَانَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَادَ بِلَالًا فَأَخْرَجَ لَهُ صُبْرًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ فَقَالَ «مَا هَذَا يَا بِلَالُ؟» قَالَ ادَّخَرْتُهُ لَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «أَمَا تَخْشَى أَنْ يُجْعَلَ لَكَ بُخَارٌ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ أَنْفِقْ بِلَالُ وَلَا تَخْشَ مِنْ ذِي الْعَرْشِ إِقْلَالًا»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ visited Bilal, and he brought out a heap of dates for him. He said: “What is this, O Bilal?” He said: I stored it for you, O Messenger of God. He said: “Do you not fear that a vapor will be made for you in the Fire of Hell? Spend, O Bilal, and do not fear poverty from the Possessor of the Throne.”
