حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ خَشْفَةً أَمَامِي حِينَ دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا بِلَالٌ فَأَخْبَرَهُ فَقَالَ «بِمَ تَسْبِقُنِي إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ؟» فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا أَحْدَثْتُ إِلَّا تَوَضَّأْتُ وَلَا تَوَضَّأْتُ إِلَّا صَلَّيْتُ عَلَى أَثَرِ الْوُضُوءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

Translation

✧ That the Prophet ﷺ said, “I heard a soft sound in front of me when I entered Paradise, so I said, 'Who is this?' They said, 'Bilal.'” He informed him, and he said, “How do you precede me to Paradise?” He said, “O Messenger of Allah, I never perform ablution except that I pray, and I never pray except that I pray two rak'ahs after the ablution.”
