حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حِسَابٍ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَارُودِ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ
«لَا يُعْجِبْكَ رَحْبُ الذِّرَاعَيْنِ بِالدَّمِ؛ فَإِنَّ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللهِ قَاتِلًا لَا يَمُوتُ وَلَا يُعْجِبْكَ امْرُؤٌ كَسَبَ مَالًا مِنْ حَرَامٍ فَإِنْ أَنْفَقَ مِنْهُ لَمْ يُقْبَلْ مِنْهُ وَإِنْ أَمْسَكَ لَمْ يُبَارَكْ لَهُ فِيهِ وَإِنْ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَهُ كَانَ زَادَهُ إِلَى النَّارِ»

✧ "He does not like the wide/uncrowded space of the two arms with blood; for it has a killer in the sight of God who does not die. And it does not please you that a person earns money from forbidden (illegitimate) means, so if he spends from it, it will not be accepted from him, and if he withholds it, it will not be blessed for him. And if he dies and leaves it, it will become his provision for the fire."
