حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ السَّلَامُ الْبَيْرُوتِيُّ مَكْحُولٌ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ بَكْرٍ السَّكْسَكِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
الْكَيِّسُ مَنْ دَانَ نَفْسَهُ، وَعَمِلَ لِمَا بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ، وَالْعَاجِزُ مَنْ أَتْبَعَ نَفْسَهُ هَوَاهَا وَتَمَنَّى عَلَى اللهِ
