✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah, which of the people is dearest to Allah, and which of the deeds is dearest to Allah? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The dearest of people to Allah is the most beneficial of them to people. The dearest of deeds to Allah is joy that you bring to a Muslim, or you relieve him of a distress, or you pay off a debt for him, or you drive away hunger from him. And to walk with my brother to fulfill a need is dearer to me than to seclude myself in this mosque for a month in the Mosque of Madinah. Whoever restrains his anger, Allah will cover his faults. Whoever suppresses his rage, even if he could have given vent to it, Allah will fill his heart with hope on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever walks with his brother to fulfill a need until he establishes it for him, Allah will make his feet firm on the day when feet slip.
