✧ Abu Hurayrah addressed us from the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Allah, the Exalted, will surely offer Adam three excuses on the Day of Resurrection. Allah, the Exalted, will say: 'O Adam, were it not that I have cursed the liars, and I hate lying and breaking promises, and I punish for it, I would have had mercy today on all your descendants due to the severity of the punishment I have prepared for them. But the word from Me has become binding: if My messengers are denied and My command is disobeyed, I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together.' And Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will say: 'O Adam, know that I will not admit anyone of your offspring into the Fire, nor punish with the Fire except one whom I know by My knowledge that, were I to return him to the world, he would return to the worst of what he was doing and would not turn back or repent.' And Allah, the Exalted, will say: 'O Adam, I have appointed you as an arbiter between Me and your descendants. Stand by the Scale and look at what is raised to you of their deeds. Whoever's good outweighs his evil by the weight of a grain, his is Paradise, so that you may know that I do not admit any of them into the Fire except a wrongdoer.'
