حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَشْعَثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْفَارِسِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ، وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ: أُشَيْمِطٌ زَانٍ، وَعَائِلٌ مُسْتَكْبِرٌ، وَرَجُلٌ جَعَلَ اللهُ لَهُ بِضَاعَةً، فَلَا يَبِيعُ إِلَّا بِيَمِينِهِ وَلَا يَشْتَرِي إِلَّا بِيَمِينِهِ

✧ Three people Allah will not speak to on the Day of Resurrection, nor purify them, and they will have a painful punishment: an old man who commits adultery, a poor person who is arrogant, and a man for whom Allah has provided goods, but he only sells by swearing and only buys by swearing.
