حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ أَبُو حَصِينٍ الْقَاضِي، حَدَّثَنَا عَوْنُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ قَالَ:
قَالَتْ لِي أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ: أَيُسَبُّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِيكُمْ عَلَى رُؤُوسِ النَّاسِ ؟ فَقُلْتُ: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، وَأَنَّى يُسَبُّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ فَقَالَتْ: أَلَيْسَ يُسَبُّ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَمَنْ يُحِبُّهُ فَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُحِبُّهُ

✧ Umm Salamah said to me: 'Is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ insulted among you in front of the people?' I said: 'Glory be to Allah! How could the Messenger of Allah ﷺ be insulted?' She said: 'Is not Ali b. Abi Talib insulted, and those who love him? I bear witness that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to love him.'
