حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصِّينِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ:
يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، إِنَّكَ مَا دَعَوْتَنِي، وَرَجَوْتَنِي غَفَرْتُ لَكَ عَلَى مَا كَانَ فِيكَ، وَلَوْ أَتَيْتَنِي بِمِلْءِ الْأَرْضِ خَطَايَا لَقِيتُكَ بِمِلْءِ الْأَرْضِ مَغْفِرَةً مَا لَمْ تُشْرِكْ بِي شَيْئًا، وَلَوْ بَلَغَتْ خَطَايَاكَ عَنَانَ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ اسْتَغْفَرْتَنِي لَغَفَرْتُ لَكَ

✧ O son of Adam, as long as you call upon Me and hope in Me, I will forgive you for what is in you, and I do not mind. If you were to come to Me with an earthful of sins, I would meet you with an earthful of forgiveness, as long as you do not associate anything with Me. And if your sins were to reach the clouds of the sky, then you asked Me for forgiveness, I would forgive you.
