حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بُلْهُطُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ قَالَ:

شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الرَّمْضَاءَ، فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا، وَقَالَ: أَكْثِرُوا مِنْ قَوْلِ: لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ، فَإِنَّهَا تَدْفَعُ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ بَابًا مِنَ الضُّرِّ أَدْنَاهَا الْهَمُّ وَالْفَقْرُ

✧ We complained to the Messenger of God ﷺ about the scorching ground, but he did not relieve us. He said: Say often: There is no might nor power except with God, for it repels ninety-nine doors of harm, the least of which are worry and poverty.
