✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for rain, saying: “O Allah, give us water.” Abu Lubabah b. ʿAbd al-Mundhir said: “O Messenger of Allah, the dates are in the drying yards.” He said: “O Allah, give us water until Abu Lubabah stands naked and blocks the water outlet of his drying yard with his waist-wrapper.” And there was not a cloud to be seen in the sky, but then it rained. They gathered around Abu Lubabah and said: “It will not stop until you stand naked and block the outlet of your drying yard as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said.” So he did it, and the sky cleared.
