حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْمِصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكَّارُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُطَرِّفِ بْنُ الْوَزِيرِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ كَانَ جُهَيْنَةُ، وَمُزَيْنَةُ، وَأَسْلَمُ، وَغِفَارُ خَيْرًا عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ أَسَدٍ، وَغَطَفَانَ وَمِنْ بَنِي عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ، هَلْ خَابُوا وَخَسِرُوا ؟ " قَالُوا: نَعَمْ؛ فَإِنَّ جُهَيْنَةَ، وَمُزَيْنَةَ، وَأَسْلَمَ، وَغِفَارَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَسَدٍ، وَغَطَفَانَ، وَمِنْ بَنِي عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ

✧ 'Have you considered that if Juhaynah, Muzaynah, Aslam, and Ghifar are better in the sight of God than Asad, Ghatafan, and Banu Amir b. Sa'sa'ah, have they failed and lost?' They said, 'Yes. Indeed, Juhaynah, Muzaynah, Aslam, and Ghifar are better than Asad, Ghatafan, and Banu Amir b. Sa'sa'ah.'
