✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by 'Abd Allah b. Rawahah al-Ansari while he was reminding his companions, so the Messenger of God ﷺ said: Indeed, you are the assembly whom God commanded me to keep myself patient with! Then he recited this verse: 'And keep yourself patient with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening' until His saying, exalted is He: 'and his affair had been in excess.' Indeed, no number of you sits except that the same number of angels sits with them; if they glorify God, they glorify Him; if they praise God, they praise Him; if they magnify God, they magnify Him. Then they ascend to the Lord, and He knows better than them, so they say: Our Lord, Your servants glorified You so we glorified You, magnified You so we magnified You, and praised You so we praised You! Our Lord says: O My angels, I make you witness that I have forgiven them! They say: Among them is so-and-so and so-and-so, the sinner! He says: They are the people; no one who sits with them will be made wretched.
