وَعَنْ سَالِمٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ. عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ:
كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: سَتَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ بَعْدِي، يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا. قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا يَصْنَعُ مَنْ أَدْرَكَهُمْ ؟ فَقَالَ: " صَلُّوا الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا، فَإِذَا حَضَرْتُمْ مَعَهُمُ الصَّلَاةَ فَصَلُّوا
Translation

✧ We were with the Messenger of God ﷺ when he said: “There will be rulers after me who delay the prayer beyond its time.” I said: “O Messenger of God, what should one who lives to see them do?” He said: “Pray the prayer at its proper time. Then, if you are present with them for the prayer, pray [with them].”
