✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up one day looking gloomy. Maymunah said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, I have noticed a change in your appearance today." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained in that state for the rest of that day. Then it occurred to him that there was a puppy under a bed of ours. He ordered that it be taken out. Then he took some water in his hand and sprinkled it in its place. When evening came, Jibril ﷺ met him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "You had promised to meet me last night." He said, "Yes, but we do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image."
