حَدَّثَنَا مَسْعَدَةُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ، عَنْ أُمِّ بَكْرٍ. عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ

أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ بَاعَ كَرْمَةً مِنْ عُثْمَانَ بِأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفَ دِينَارٍ، فَأَمَرَ عُثْمَانُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَرْحٍ، فَأَعْطَاهُ الثَّمَنَ، فَقَسَمَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بَيْنَ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ، وَبَيْنَ فُقَرَاءِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَأَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، قَالَ الْمِسْوَرُ: فَأَتَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ، فَقَالَتْ: مَا هَذَا ؟ قُلْتُ: بَعَثَ بِهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، فَقَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: لَا يَحْنُو عَلَيْكُنَّ بَعْدِي إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ، سَقَى اللهُ ابْنَ عَوْفٍ مِنْ سَلْسَبِيلِ الْجَنَّةِ

✧ 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf sold a vineyard to 'Uthman for forty thousand dinars. 'Uthman ordered 'Abd Allah b. Sa'd b. Abi Sarh, and he gave him the price. 'Abd al-Rahman divided it among the Banu Zuhrah, the poor of the Muslims, and the wives of the Prophet ﷺ. Al-Miswar said: I came to 'A'ishah, and she said: What is this? I said: 'Abd al-Rahman sent it. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: None will be compassionate toward you after me except the patient ones. May Allah give Ibn 'Awf to drink from Salsabil of Paradise.
