وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَيْسَ الْمِسْكِينُ بِالطَّوَّافِ الَّذِي تَرُدُّهُ الْأُكْلَةُ وَالْأُكْلَتَانِ، وَالتَّمْرَةُ وَالتَّمْرَتَانِ؛ وَلَكِنَّ الْمِسْكِينَ الَّذِي لَا يَجِدُ مَا يُغْنِيهِ، وَلَا يَسْأَلُ النَّاسَ لِيُعْطُوهُ
Translation

✧ The destitute person (miskīn) is not the one who goes around begging and is turned away by a morsel or two, or a date or two. Rather, the destitute person is the one who does not find enough to suffice him and does not ask people so that they give him.
