حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ نِزَارٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ. عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ:
رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّتِهِ رَجُلًا يُهَادَى بَيْنَ ابْنَيْهِ فِيمَا بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ، فَقَالَ: " بِمَ هَذَا ؟ " قَالُوا: نَذَرَ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَصْنَعُ بِتَعْذِيبِ هَذَا نَفْسَهُ شَيْئًا، فَلْيَرْكَبْ

✧ During his Hajj, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man being supported between his two sons between Makkah and Madinah. He said: 'What is this?' They said: 'He vowed to walk to the House.' He said: 'Indeed Allah has no need for this man to torment himself. Let him ride.'
