✧ Regarding His saying: 'And I do not know what will be done with me or with you' (Quran 46:9), he said: 'The Prophet of Allah ﷺ came to know after that what would be done with him when Allah revealed: 'Indeed, We have granted you a clear victory' (Quran 48:1).' Hammam said: 'Then he narrated to us from Anas b. Malik that when this verse was revealed to the Prophet of Allah ﷺ, he said: "A verse has been revealed to me that is dearer to me than the entire world." When the Prophet of Allah ﷺ recited it, a man from the people said: "Congratulations to you, O Prophet of Allah. Allah has made clear to you what will be done with you. But what will be done with us?" So Allah revealed: "That He may admit the believing men and the believing women to gardens beneath which rivers flow..." (Quran 48:5).'
