✧ "O people, give charity and draw near to God"—three times—but no one brought anything, until it was seen in the face of the Messenger of God ﷺ. Then he said: "O people, give charity and draw near to God." A man from the Ansar stood up and brought a piece of a bracelet, and he took it from him. When the people saw that, they followed one another in giving charity, and the face of the Messenger of God ﷺ brightened. Then he said: "Whoever establishes a good practice in Islam will have its reward and the like of the reward of those who act upon it until the Day of Resurrection, without any decrease in their rewards. And whoever establishes an evil practice will bear its sin and the sin of those who act upon it until the Day of Resurrection, without any decrease in their sins."
