حَدَّثَنَا مِقْدَامٌ: نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ: نَا سَهْلٌ أَبُو حَرِيزٍ، مَوْلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:

عَمَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ، وَأَرْخَى لَهُ أَرْبَعَ أَصَابِعَ، وَقَالَ: إِنِّي لَمَّا صَعِدْتُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ رَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُعْتَمِّينَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed a turban on 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf, letting four finger-widths hang down, and said: 'When I ascended to the heaven, I saw most of the angels wearing turbans.'
