Letting the End of the Turban Hang Between the Shoulders

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ مُسَاوِرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ السَّاعَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ، وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ قَدْ أَرْخَى طَرَفَهَا بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ.

Translation

It is as though I am looking this very moment at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the pulpit, wearing a black turban, having let its end hang down between his shoulders.
