✧ Gabriel came down to me and I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him. After that I saw the Messenger of God praying the noon prayer when the sun declines; sometimes he delayed it in intense heat. He prayed the afternoon prayer while the sun was white and high, so that a man could travel after finishing it to Dhu al-Hulayfah, six miles, before sunset. He prayed the sunset prayer when the sun had set, and the evening prayer when the horizon had darkened. He prayed the dawn prayer while it was still dark, then one day he prayed it when it had become light, then he never returned to praying it when it was light until God took him.
