✧ Some cloaks were brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he distributed them among his companions. My father Makhramah said, 'Let us go to him; perhaps he will give us something from them.' My father came to the door and said, 'Is he here?' The Prophet ﷺ heard his voice and came out with a cloak, and it was as if I could see him showing my father the fine qualities of the cloak, saying, 'I kept this for you, I kept this for you.' I said to my father, 'Why did the Prophet ﷺ do this for Makhramah?' He said, 'He used to be wary of his tongue.'
