✧ When the Messenger of God ﷺ prayed for rain, he would say: 'O God, give us a drink that is ample, gentle, and beneficial, by which You satisfy the wealth and the souls, a pleasant, wholesome, covering, enveloping rain, with which You shower our desert and our settled areas, by which You send down blessings of the heavens and bring forth for us blessings of the earth, and make us among the thankful for it. You are the Hearer of supplication.' And when he prayed against locusts, he said: 'O God, kill their large ones, destroy their small ones, spoil their eggs, and cut off their offspring.'
