حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ، أَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، نَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَعْمَى، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

بَيْنَمَا أَنَا أُصَلِّي إِذِ اعْتَرَضَ شَيْطَانٌ، فَأَخَذْتُ بِحَلْقِهِ فَخَنَقْتُهُ حَتَّى إِنِّي لَأَجِدُ بَرْدَ لِسَانِهِ عَلَى يَدِي، فَلَوْلَا دَعْوَةُ أَخِي سُلَيْمَانَ لَأَصْبَحَ مَرْبُوطًا تَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْهِ

✧ While I was praying, a devil appeared before me. I seized him by the throat and choked him until I felt the coldness of his tongue on my hand. Had it not been for the supplication of my brother Sulayman, he would have been tied up for you to see.
