حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، نَا عُمَرُ بْنُ زُرَارَةَ الْحَدَثِيُّ، نَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْبَلَوِيُّ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ بِنْتِ عَدِيٍّ
أَنَّ أُمَّهَا عَمِيرَةَ بِنْتَ سَهْلٍ صَاحِبِ الصَّاعَيْنِ الَّذِي لَمَزَهُ الْمُنَافِقُونَ، حَدَّثَتْهَا أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ بِزَكَاتِهِ بِصَاعٍ مِنْ تَمْرٍ، وَبِابْنَتِهِ عَمِيرَةَ حَتَّى أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَصَبَّهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ لِي إِلَيْكَ حَاجَةً ؟ قَالَ: " وَمَا هِيَ ؟ قَالَ: تَدْعُو اللهَ لِي وَلَهَا بِالْبَرَكَةِ، وَتَمْسَحُ رَأْسَهَا، فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لِي وَلَدٌ غَيْرَهَا، قَالَتْ: " فَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَدَهُ عَلَيَّ "، فَأُقْسِمُ بِاللهِ لَكَأَنَّ بَرْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى كَبِدِي

✧ Her mother Umayrah bt. Sahl, the companion of the two sa's whom the hypocrites slandered, told her that he went out with his zakat with a sa' of dates, and with his daughter Umayrah, until he came to the Prophet ﷺ and poured it. Then he said, "O Messenger of God, I have a need to you?" He said, "What is it?" He said, "You supplicate to God for me and for her for blessing, and you wipe her head, for I have no child other than her." She said, "So the Messenger of God ﷺ placed his hand on me. I swear by God, it was as if the coolness of the Messenger of God ﷺ was upon my liver."
