حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زُنْبُورٍ، ثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:

سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ أَجْرِ الرِّبَاطِ، فَقَالَ: مَنْ رَابَطَ لَيْلَةً حَارِسًا مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ مِمَّنْ صَامَ وَصَلَّى

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was asked about the reward of guarding the frontier, and he said: Whoever stands guard one night behind the Muslims has the like of the reward of those behind him who fast and pray.
