✧ I entered the mosque of Kufa on a Friday evening while 'Ali was addressing the people. They rose from the corners of the mosque shouting "arbitration!" He gestured with his hand like this, then said: "A word of truth by which falsehood is sought. I await the judgment of Allah regarding you, to judge by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet ﷺ, and to divide among you equally. Nothing prevents you from praying in this mosque as long as your hands are with our hands, and we will not fight you until you fight us."
