✧ While we were with the Prophet ﷺ, a Jewish man—called Thaʿlaba b. al-Ḥārith—came and said, “Al-sāmu ʿalayka, O Muḥammad.” He replied, “And upon you.” The Jew said, “You claim that in Paradise there is food, drink, and spouses.” The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “Yes. Do you believe in the tree of musk?” He said, “Yes.” He said, “And do you find it in your scripture?” He said, “Yes.” He said, “Indeed, urine and janāba will be sweat flowing like musk from beneath their forelocks to their feet.”
