حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمَرْزُبَانِ، نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ جَبَلَةَ الشِّيرَازِيُّ، نَا سَعْدُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ وَبَرَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُسْلِي، عَنْ خَرَشَةَ بْنِ الْحُرِّ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، يَضْرِبُ أَكُفَّ الرِّجَالِ فِي صَوْمِ رَجَبٍ، حَتَّى يَضَعُونَهَا فِي الطَّعَامِ، وَيَقُولُ: " رَجَبٌ وَمَا رَجَبٌ ؟ إِنَّمَا رَجَبٌ شَهْرٌ كَانَ يُعَظِّمُهُ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ الْإِسْلَامُ تُرِكَ "
