✧ A slave girl came tending sheep of mine, and a wolf ate a sheep, so I struck the slave girl's face. Then I regretted it and went to the Messenger of God ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of God, if I knew that she was a believer, I would free her.' The Messenger of God ﷺ said, 'Who am I?' She said, 'The Messenger of God.' He said, 'Then who is God?' She said, 'The One who is in the heaven.' The Messenger of God ﷺ said, 'Free her, for she is a believer.'
