حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رُسْتَهْ، ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَالِكٍ الرَّاسِبِيُّ، نَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْيَسَرِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:

قَالَ مُعَاذٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مُرْنِي بِعَمَلٍ يُدْخِلُنِي الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ: آمِنْ بِاللهِ، وَقُلْ خَيْرًا يُكْتَبْ لَكَ، وَلَا تَقُلْ شَرًّا فَيُكْتَبْ عَلَيْكَ قَالَ: وَإِنَّا لَنُؤَاخَذُ بِمَا نَتَكَلَّمُ بِهِ ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " وَهَلْ يَكُبُّ النَّاسَ عَلَى مَنَاخِرِهِمْ فِي النَّارِ إِلَّا حَصَائِدُ أَلْسِنَتِهِمْ ؟

✧ Mu'adh said: O Messenger of Allah, command me to a deed that will admit me to Paradise. He said: Believe in Allah, and speak good, and it will be recorded for you; and do not speak evil, lest it be recorded against you. He said: Shall we be held accountable for what we say? The Prophet ﷺ said: "And do people get thrown onto their faces in the Fire except for the harvests of their tongues?"
