✧ The parable of a man and death is like a man who has three friends. He said, “O Allah, this is my wealth; take from it what You will, give what You will, and leave what You will.” The second one said, “I am with you, I will serve you, but when you die, I will leave you.” The third one said, “I am with you; I will enter with you and exit with you, whether you die or live.” As for the one who said, “This is my wealth; take from it what You will and leave what You will,” that is his wealth. The other one is his kinsfolk. The other one is his deeds, which enter with him and exit with him wherever he is.
