حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَوْذَبٍ، نَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَوْلَا أَنَّ قَوْمَكِ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِكُفْرٍ لَهَدَمْتُ الْكَعْبَةَ، ثُمَّ أَعَدْتُهَا عَلَى أَسَاسِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَأَدْخَلْتُ فِي الْبَيْتِ مِنَ الْحِجْرِ أَذْرُعًا، وَجَعَلْتُ لَهَا بَابَيْنِ، وَأَلْصَقْتُهُمَا بِالْأَرْضِ

✧ Were it not that your people are recent in disbelief, I would demolish the Kaaba and rebuild it upon the foundations of Ibrahim, and I would include in the House several cubits from the Hijr, and I would make for it two doors and attach them to the ground.
