حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الطُّوسِيُّ، ثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْجِهْبِذُ - دَلَّنِي عَلَيْهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ - نَا مَعْرُوفُ بْنُ وَاصِلٍ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ أَبِي نُبَاتَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَغَرِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِنَّ أُنَاسًا مِنْ أَهْلِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ يَدْخُلُونَ النَّارَ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ، فَيَقُولُ لَهُمْ أَهْلُ اللَّاتِ وَالْعُزَّى: مَا أَغْنَى عَنْكُمْ قَوْلُكُمْ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنْتُمْ مَعَنَا فِي النَّارِ، فَيَغْضَبُ اللهُ لَهُمْ، فَيُخْرِجُهُمْ، فَيُلْقِيهِمْ فِي نَهَرِ الْحَيَاةِ، فَيَبْرَءُونَ مِنْ حَرْقِهِمْ كَمَا يَبْرَأُ الْقَمَرُ مِنْ كُسُوفِهِ، فَيَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَيُسَمَّوْنَ فِيهَا الْجَهَنَّمِيِّينَ ". فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا أَنَسُ، أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ فَقَالَ أَنَسٌ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ نَعَمْ، أَنَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ هَذَا

✧ There are people from among those who say 'There is no god but Allah' who will enter Hell because of their sins. The people of al-Lat and al-Uzza will say to them: 'What did your saying "There is no god but Allah" avail you, when you are with us in Hell?' Then Allah will become angry on their behalf, bring them out, and cast them into the River of Life. They will recover from their burns as the moon recovers from its eclipse, and they will enter Paradise, where they will be called 'the Jahannamiyyin.' A man said: 'O Anas, did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?' Anas said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever lies about me deliberately, let him take his seat in Hell." Yes, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say this.'
