حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ، نَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، ثَنَا أَبِي، ثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:
قَالَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ: لَقَدْ أَتَيْنَا قَوْمًا مَا رَأَيْنَا قَوْمًا أَحْسَنَ مُوَاسَاةً فِي قَلِيلٍ وَلَا أَحْسَنَ بَذْلًا فِي كَثِيرٍ مِنْهُمْ، وَاللهِ لَقَدْ كَفَوْنَا الْمُؤْنَةَ وَأَشْرَكُونَا فِي الْمَهْنَأِ، وَلَقَدْ خَشِينَا أَنْ يَذْهَبُوا بِالْأَجْرِ كُلِّهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: كَلَّا، مَا أَثْنَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَدَعَوْتُمْ لَهُمْ
Translation

✧ The Muhajirun said to the Prophet ﷺ: 'We have come to a people the like of whom we have never seen: none better in sharing even in little, and none more generous in giving in abundance. By Allah, they have taken care of the expenses and shared with us in the good things. We fear they will take all the reward.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'No, as long as you praise them for it and pray for them.'
