حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَرَّاقُ، نَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ، نَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ الذُّهْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي فُلْفُلَةُ الْجُعْفِيُّ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ، يَقُولُ: " رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي الْمَنَامِ مُتَعَلِّقًا بِالْعَرْشِ، وَرَأَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ آخِذًا بِحَقْوَيِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَرَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ آخِذًا بِحَقْوَيْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَرَأَيْتُ عُثْمَانَ آخِذًا بِحَقْوَيْ عُمَرَ، وَرَأَيْتُ الدَّمَ يَنْصَبُّ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ "، فَحَدَّثَ الْحَسَنُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَعِنْدَهُ قَوْمٌ مِنَ الشِّيعَةِ، فَقَالُوا: وَمَا رَأَيْتَ عَلِيًّا ؟ فَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ: " مَا كَانَ أَحَدٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ أَرَاهُ آخِذًا بِحَقْوَيِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِنْ عَلِيٍّ، وَلَكِنَّهَا رُؤْيَا رَأَيْتُهَا ". فَقَالَ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ: فَإِنَّكُمْ تُحَدِّثُونَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ فِي رُؤْيَا رَآهَا، وَقَدْ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي غَزَاةٍ، فَأَصَابَ النَّاسَ جَهْدٌ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ الْكَآبَةَ فِي وُجُوهِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْفَرَحَ فِي وُجُوهِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: وَاللهِ لَا تَغِيبُ الشَّمْسُ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَكُمُ اللهُ بِرِزْقٍ، فَعَلِمَ عُثْمَانُ أَنَّ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ سَيَصْدُقَانِ، فَاشْتَرَى عُثْمَانُ أَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ رَاحِلَةً بِمَا عَلَيْهَا مِنَ الطَّعَامِ فَوَجَّهَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِنْهَا بِتِسْعَةٍ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى ذَلِكَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَالَ: " مَا هَذَا ؟ " قَالُوا: أَهْدَى إِلَيْكَ عُثْمَانُ، فَعُرِفَ الْفَرَحُ فِي وُجُوهِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْكَآبَةُ فِي وُجُوهِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ، فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَدْ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى رُئِيَ بَيَاضُ إِبْطَيْهِ يَدْعُو لِعُثْمَانَ دُعَاءً مَا سَمِعْتُهُ دَعَا لِأَحَدٍ قَبْلَهُ وَلَا بَعْدَهُ بِمِثْلِهِ: " اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ عُثْمَانَ، اللَّهُمَّ افْعَلْ لِعُثْمَانَ

✧ I heard al-Hasan b. 'Ali say: "I saw the Prophet ﷺ in a dream clinging to the Throne, and I saw Abu Bakr holding the Prophet's ﷺ waist, and I saw 'Umar holding Abu Bakr's waist, and I saw 'Uthman holding 'Umar's waist, and I saw blood pouring from heaven to earth." Al-Hasan related this hadith while some Shi'a were with him, and they said: "And what did you see of 'Ali?" Al-Hasan said: "There was no one more beloved to me to see holding the Prophet's ﷺ waist than 'Ali, but it was a dream I saw." Abu Mas'ud said: "You relate from al-Hasan b. 'Ali about a dream he saw. We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a campaign, and the people were struck with hardship until I saw gloom on the faces of the Muslims and joy on the faces of the hypocrites. When the Messenger of God ﷺ saw that, he said: 'By God, the sun will not set until God brings you provision.' 'Uthman knew that God and His Messenger would prove true, so 'Uthman bought fourteen camels with their loads of food and sent nine of them to the Prophet ﷺ. When the Prophet ﷺ saw that, he said: 'What is this?' They said: ''Uthman sent it to you as a gift.' Joy was seen on the faces of the Muslims and gloom on the faces of the hypocrites. I saw the Prophet ﷺ raise his hands until the whiteness of his armpits was visible, supplicating for 'Uthman with a supplication the like of which I never heard him make for anyone before or after: 'O God, give 'Uthman; O God, do for 'Uthman...'"
