حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ قَطَنٍ الْبُخَارِيُّ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمَّارِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ، صَلَّى بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ، فَقُلْتُ:
يَا أَبَهْ، مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ ؟ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ حَبِيبِي رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ، وَقَالَ: مَنْ صَلَّى بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ غُفِرَتْ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ

✧ O father, what is this prayer? He said, “I saw my beloved, the Messenger of God ﷺ, pray six rak’ahs after Maghrib, and he said, ‘Whoever prays six rak’ahs after Maghrib, his sins will be forgiven, even if they were like the foam of the sea.’”
